Clamp Force Gage KM63 Dynamometer

Our Clamprite Drawbar Gage Kits provide an easy, accurate, and economical method of checking force for a KM63 taper. Having a clamp force dynomometer can save huge costs including spindles, downtime, paid service and loss of tool life. A spindle clamp force gage is also commonly known as a spindle drawbar dynomometer. Our Clamprite gage kits are furnished in a metal tool box which include the gage head, a spindle adapter, and coupling that accepts the pull studs. Collect pull studs from each of your machines and store them in the clamprite box for easy access. The clamprite universal head adapts to all the tapers with the proper adapters, but must be within the range for resolution of the gauge head used.

Digital dynamometers cost three times as much and are more delicate and prone to problems when they are dropped or used during machine repair. Our units are almost solid steel except for the gauge itself.
 

Pressure gauge size when ordering: Though you can read smaller spindles with a higher pressure gage. If you know you are only going to use the head within a specific pressure it is better to select the lower gage to have a finer visual resolution.
