High tolerance testbars are Important which is why we sell them.The largest cause of excessive tool wear and tool breakage are directly caused from machine tool spindle runout as well as excessive slop or axial play. The spindle runout test bar can be used to test your CNC machine tools for accuracy and alignments, and also to ensure a stable production environment as well as consistency moving jobs from one machine to another.

Spindle Runout Testbars are easy to use and a fast way to verify your machine spindle is running properly. Check them after a machine has been crashed and take the proper steps before you start making scrap parts.

CAT/BT/ISO/DIN - Maximum runout error 0.003mm / 3 micron / 0.0001 inch.
HSK - Maximum runout error 0.003mm / 3 micron / 0.0001 inch
KM - Maximum runout error 0.005mm / 5 micron / 0.0002 inch.
Capto - Maximum runout error 0.005mm / 5 micron / 0.0002 inch.

These are surface hardened and not a soft material like many of the cheaper test bars available on the market.
