Granite precision tri-squares come come with 3-Face - one large face and two edges finished flat and square to each other with lightening holes, or 4-Face - two large faces and two edges flat and square to each other with lightening holes. Please be aware - lightening holes are not held to a specific tolerance. They are used for lifting and reducing the weight of the Square. Please specify 3-Face or 4-Face when requesting a quote. When used in its horizontal position, a granite tri square is used to check 90 degree squareness of the X and Y axes. When used in the vertical position, it can be used to check the perpendicularity of the Z axes.
