Description: The ForceCheck Chuck Force Gauge measures the holding force on turning-centers, chucks, or lathes quickly and accurately. This gauge can help perform preventative maintenance checks and allows manufacturers to check the actual holding force under dynamic conditions. You can measure the grip force of any size chuck at elevated speeds.

According to Manufacturer they have tested this up to 5000 RPM. We would not recommend going above that speed.

Specifications:
Two chuck tester sensor sizes are standard or Custom sizes available:
- Diameter 72mm --> For measuring 2 and 3 jaw chucks
- Diameter 125 mm --> For measuring 2,3, and 4 jaw chucks
- Custom size request quote - The whole sensor scales up as the diameter gets larger. Cant just replace posts.
- Photos and drawings of chuck, information on application and reasons for wanting to check will be needed to determine force range and for design specifics

Chuck Force gauges are calibrated up to the following pressures.
72mm – 50,000 Newtons
124mm – 65,000 Newtons

Readout Display in Newtons or Pound-Foot - Note hydraulic pressure gauges are in PSI. The reading does not take into account surface area of poston and mechancial advantage of Chuck design. Also clamping ID or OD will show different forces due to poston size of hydraulic actuator on shaft size or across piston head of chuck cylinder.

Warranty is 2 years - Annual calibration is extra cost and done locally. Usually takes a week.
