Important considerations.

128mb may seem small for today's storage capabilities, however, many older machines will not accept larger size disks. The limit for most older machines is 128mb. CNC programs file sizes are usually relatively small as are other program data typically stored inside parts like CNC's, HMI's and PLC's. So 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, and 512mb cards provide the biggest range and compatibility across multiple platforms and different ages of controls. You may try larger capacity cards but machine may generate an alarm and not recognize the card.

*Note- this PC compact flash will work on most machines with newer controls since approximately 2001. Older machines will require SRAM cards which have very small capacity usually less then 8MB and run on a different voltage. Has been tested on controls including 16i/18i/21i and above and newer Mitsubishi controls. Make sure you set device to channel 4 () or it will not look for the card on controls.
