Ballscrew Bearing Installation – We recommend you clean bearings with a brake cleaner or a thinner to remove all the rust preventative oil by the manufacturer. Not doing so will cause the grease to not adhere to the bearing surface properly. Blow with air to remove all oil and residue. DO NOT spin bearing with air or pack solid with grease. This will cause damage or generate excessive heat reducing grease and bearing life. If you did not know this. We recommend you ask machine manufacturer or CNC distributor for more detailed instructions before attempting on your own.
