The hand held CNC Coder provides a USB to thumb drive interface to use your flash drives to transfer programs to your CNC. It also has internal memory and a new bright color LCD touchscreen display, 416 MHz Intel processor, a 256 Meg internal flash disk, and a high capacity removable battery. The standard CNC Gcoder style serial cable incorporates an ergonomic right angle design and is made using extreme duty durable industrial RS232 cable. A standard USB jack allows the CNC Gcoder to utilize popular flash/stick/pen drives, USB hard disks, keyboards, mice, and even barcode readers.

Designed for machine tool setup, maintenance, and programming personnel, the CNC Gcoder HD Super is a handheld tool for backing-up, editing, and transferring CNC machine tool G-Code programs. CNC Gcoder HD Super features an easy-to-use, PC compatible file system that allows users to store and organize G-Code programs in unlimited directories. In addition to the large 256 Meg internal flash disk, the USB jack offers limitless memory capabilities and enables the user to directly transfer the files between the CNC Gcoder HDx and any PC.
The CNC Gcoder handheld is liquid, dust, and shock-resistant and is designed to withstand a four-foot drop without damage. Battery life
This unit goes to sleep and connects and disconnects the transferring immediately to save energy. This unit also runs Windows CE and only has the necessary OS files loaded for operation unlike typical Windows PC's. It instantly wakes up for use by pressing a button when needed. The battery will last a very long time and recharging is not needed very often. There is a battery meter as well which can be found in Windows CE by going to -My Device-, under the -Power- control panel there is a readout of the battery charge as a percentage. NOTE: This only works if the unit is not plugged into the charger, if the charger is connected, the panel will display that the unit is -Plugged In-. Also, when the charger is connected, the amber light on the top of the unit will flash while the unit is charging, and glow steady when the unit is fully charged.
Limitations: The maximum individual program file size you can transfer from handheld is approx. 1.3mb. We would say 98% of most companies will never have a program this large unless you have a die mold application.
